We discover the historical Jesuit Ruins of northern Argentina, then spend a few days at Iguazu, marvelling at the thundering Iguazu Falls. Heading onwards, we journey to the university city of Curitiba, pass through the sprawling metropolis of Sao Paolo then it’s out to the coast and the charming old pirate town of Parati. Our great journey south begins in the world's highest capital city, La Paz. Traversing the altiplano, we pass through the colonial cities of Potosi and Sucre, before commencing our trip out onto the great expanse of the Bolivian salt flats. Then its onwards through Butch Cassidy territory, and we continue to head south as we descend in altitude to the pretty Argentinian town of Salta. Following the Andes ever further south, we pass vast golden deserts before arriving into Argentina's wine capital, Mendoza. One last trip takes us across the back of the Andes, the silhouette of Aconcagua towering over us, and we arrive into our final destination: the cosmopolitan city of Santiago de Chile.

This epic journey leads us from Peruvian coast, across deserts, and through high mountain passes. En route, we'll discover the Nazca Lines and go in search of condors at Colca Canyon. We'll hike the legendary Inca Trail to discover the fabled citadel of Machu Picchu, and enjoy the fabulous town of Cusco. Heading across the altiplano, we sail across Lake Titicaca's cobalt blue waters. Continuing south, we enjoy a trip out onto the Salt Flats, then descend into Argentina where we'll travel parallel with the great Andean range. Our last stop in Argentina is the laid back city of Mendoza, surrounded by many fine vineyards. One last mountain crossing brings us to Santiago, where we'll round off our journey.

Leaving Santiago, we head south to the cooler climates of Patagonia. Traversing lakes and mountains, we arrive into alpine Bariloche then journey across the very centre of Argentina to spot wildlife at the Valdes Peninsula. A short stop in the city that never sleeps, Buenos Aires, gives us a chnace to enjoy cafe society. Our journey continues to the friendly country of Uruguay, before heading to the Brazilian border to marvel at the stunning Iguazu Falls. Heading through Brazil gives us time to relax on tropical beaches before rocking into the city of Rio for a spectacular end to our journey.

From Peru's mysterious Nazca Lines to the majestic condors at Colca Canyon and the challenging Inca Trail to the citadel of Machu Picchu. Heading up Argentina's east coast, there's time for an excursion to spot wildlife out on the Valdes Peninsula and a few days to kick back and relax in Buenos Aires. Continuing north, we'll visit the stunning falls at Iguazu before enjoying some well-earned rest on Brazil's beautiful beaches. And what better place to round of your trip than in the stunning city of Rio?

This epic journey takes us from the barren and chilly altiplano, across great deserts and through the verdant and lake studded lands of Patagonia. Bolivia, with its large indigenous population, witches markets and colonial towns, contrasts sharply with the more European and affluent countries of Argentina and Chile. Beginning our journey in La Paz, we wind our way south, making an excursion out onto the famous salt flats before crossing the border into Argentina's wine country. Cosmopolitan Chile comes next, where we take in some of Chilean Patagonia's most stunning scenery. Back across the border in Argentina we head towards the wild Atlantic Ocean in search of local wildlife. Our final leg of the journey brings us to Buenos Aires, aptly named the "Paris of South America" with its tree-lined avenues and cafe society, which makes for a fantastic end to our trip.

Travelling down the rugged Peruvian coastline, across the back of the great Andean mountain range and through the wilds of Patagonia, we explore the different landscapes of this fascinating continent. Aong the way we'll discover the unexplained Nazca Lines and the vast Colca Canyon, the beautifully preserved city of Cusco and deep bue waters of Lake Titicaca. Heading south through Boivia, we'l enjoy an excursion out onto the world famous salt flats. Continuing ever south, we travel through Argentina's winelands, before discovering the lakes and mountains of the rugged Patagonian region, calling in at the resort towns of Pucon and Bariloche. Heading across to the Atlantic coast, we'll discover the wildlife and wild expanses of the Valdes Peninsula before rounding our trip off in the vibrant city of Buenos Aires.
