Itinerary:
Day #1 Québec City. Arrive in Québec City, the only walled city in Canada and the only urban area in North America that is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The remainder of the day is yours to relax or to begin exploring this 400-year-old city.
Day #2 Québec City. Two full days to discover Québec City and its surroundings. On one day during your stay, enjoy an included CITY TOUR that covers points of interest featuring the world-famous Château Frontenac, City Hall, the National Assembly, La Citadelle, and Place Royale, the oldest part of Québec City. There’s time to explore on your own, so why not see the Old World houses in Lower Town, enjoy a cruise on the St. Lawrence River, shop for souvenirs, or enjoy some local French cuisine?
Day #3 Québec City. Two full days to discover Québec City and its surroundings. On one day during your stay, enjoy an included CITY TOUR that covers points of interest featuring the world-famous Château Frontenac, City Hall, the National Assembly, La Citadelle, and Place Royale, the oldest part of Québec City. There’s time to explore on your own, so why not see the Old World houses in Lower Town, enjoy a cruise on the St. Lawrence River, shop for souvenirs, or enjoy some local French cuisine?
Day #4 Québec City–Montréal. Travel from Québec City on VIA RAIL (coach-class) to Montréal, Canada’s second-largest city. Take the rest of the day to relax or to begin exploring this vibrant city.
Day #5 Montréal. Two additional days to explore Montréal. On one day during your stay, enjoy an included CITY TOUR of the city that takes in over 200 points of interest, with a photo stop at Notre Dame Basilica, St. Joseph’s Oratory, Old Montréal, the Latin Quarter, Olympic Park, and a panoramic view from an observation point on top of Mount Royal. You’ll also see Montréal’s Old Port, Chinatown, McGill University, City Hall, and much more.
