Day #1 Budapest, Hungary. Üdvözöljük–welcome! Time to relax or to begin exploring. Your Local Host provides you with a Destination Guide, full of useful city information, and is on hand to help you create lasting memories.
Day #2 Budapest. Morning guided sightseeing and orientation includes Matthias Coronation Church and impressive HEROES’ SQUARE. Drive up to Fisherman’s Bastion for magnificent panoramas of Buda and Pest on either side of the Danube River.
Day #3 Budapest. Full day to enjoy the capital of Hungary at your own pace.
Day #4 Budapest–Vienna, Austria. This morning, journey by HIGH-SPEED TRAIN to Vienna (first-class) with early-afternoon arrival.
Day #5 Vienna. Morning guided sightseeing and orientation includes a visit to SCHÖNBRUNN PALACE, former residence of the Habsburg Dynasty. Also see Prater Park with the giant Ferris wheel and famous landmarks along the Ringstrasse: the Museum of Applied & Contemporary Art (MAK), the Fine Arts Museum, Heldenplatz with Hofburg Palace, the Museum Quarter, the State Opera House, Parliament, City Hall, and the National Theater.
