Day #2 Vienna. Morning guided sightseeing and orientation includes a visit to SCHÖNBRUNN PALACE, former residence of the Habsburg Dynasty. Also see Prater Park with the Giant Ferris wheel, one of Vienna’s well-known landmarks, and famous monuments along the Ringstrasse such as the Museum of Applied & Contemporary Art, Fine Arts and Natural History Museums, Heldenplatz with Hofburg Palace, the Museum Quarter, the State Opera House, Parliament, City Hall, and the National Theater.

Day #3 Vienna. Full day to enjoy Austria’s capital at your own pace.

Day #4 Vienna–Munich, Germany. Travel to Munich by HIGH-SPEED TRAIN (first-class).

Day #5 Munich. Morning guided sightseeing and orientation: see the Oktoberfest grounds, 1972 Olympic Park, gothic Frauenkirche Cathedral, and learn more about luxury cars at BMW WORLD. Drive by baroque Nymphenburg Palace, summer residence of former Bavarian royalty, and spend time in its magnificent PARK. Admire the Old and New Town Halls in MARIENPLATZ with the famous Glockenspiel.

Day #6 Munich. Full day at leisure to enjoy this vibrant city.

Day #7 Munich–Berlin. Journey to Berlin by HIGH-SPEED TRAIN (first-class).

Day #8 Berlin. Morning guided sightseeing and orientation includes the restored Reichstag, Charlottenburg Palace, Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church, Checkpoint Charlie, Museum Island, and unique Unter den Linden Boulevard with its incredible ensemble of historic buildings. Time for a picture stop at the HOLOCAUST MEMORIAL and BRANDENBURG GATE, a former entrance to Berlin.
