Accommodations: Guest rooms and suites are housed within 9 3-story buildings. All have either a balcony or ground-floor terrace, a king-sized bed or 2 twin beds, and are equipped with air-conditioning, ceiling fans, satellite TV, phones, hairdryers, and mini-bars stocked with soft drinks and bottled water. In-room safes are available at an additional cost. The more spacious junior suites have sitting areas and ocean views.
Dining & Entertainment: The main restaurant has an open kitchen where breakfast, lunch, and dinner are prepared and served buffet-style. There are also 3 a la carte, dinner-only restaurants, specializing in Brazilian, Mexican, and Caribbean cuisine. NOTE: Reservations and a dress code are required for a la carte dining. A casual, beachside spot serves light fare, snacks, informal meals, and drinks throughout the day. There are 3 other bars. NOTE: Soft drinks and snacks are served 24 hours a day, but no alcoholic beverages are served between the hours of 2:00am and 9:00am. After dinner, you can enjoy live stage shows featuring music and dance, and mingle with other guests at the nightclub.
Recreation: A whirlpool surrounded by Roman columns is the centerpiece of the lagoon-style pool, and chaise lounges and umbrellas on the poolside terrace invite sunbathing in comfort. More lounges can be found on the beach, along with thatched-roof palapas and palms that provide shade. El Spa has a Turkish bath and menu of massages, body treatments, and beauty services. A dive shop arranges local scuba and snorkeling excursions, and instructors are on hand to help novice divers become certified. Kayaking, windsurfing, and sailing are among the water sports. Other diversions include merengue lessons, archery, tennis, water polo, volleyball, and table tennis. An activities team organizes games and competitions among the guests throughout the day. Kids will enjoy Lucy's Mini Club (for ages 3-12), which offers supervised activities like singing, painting, and games from 10:00am-5:00pm. There is also a children's pool.
