Accommodations: Set amidst the property's lush jungle gardens, the guest rooms and suites are housed inside 2-story, adobe-inspired villas. While each has its own look and personality (no 2 rooms are quite the same), all include essential amenities like air-conditioning, ceiling fans, bathrobes, deluxe bath amenities, hairdryers, satellite TVs, and in-room electronic safes. Each guest room has a private balcony or terrace, with views of the bay or gardens; suites have private infinity pools. Baths are finished with indigenous marble.

Dining & Entertainment: The hotel's signature restaurant, La Marea has an open-kitchen a dining room, a lively cantina bar, and seating on an outdoor deck; open for lunch and dinner, the menu is comprised of Mexican and Mediterranean dishes. La Villa specializes in Pacific-Mexican cuisine, prepared with local ingredients and fresh local seafood, along with classic French and International entrees. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, you can add an extra touch of barefoot-elegance with candlelight, white linen, a serenading mariachi band, and a private table-for-2 on the beach. Friday nights there is a Mexican fiesta with a buffet and live music. After dark, head to the Coral Bar for specialty margaritas and tropical cocktails, premium tequila, and what they call "the meanest martinis south of the border."

Recreation: The spa has3 treatment rooms and a private palapa for beachside massages. Hot stone, aromatherapy, and Swedish are just some of the massage treatments offered. In addition, there is a variety of facials, body therapies, and beauty services for men and women, as well as a fitness and yoga center. There are 4 swimming pools, including a beachside infinity pool, 2 lighted tennis courts, and activities like snorkeling, kayaking, sailing, surfing, hiking, and horseback riding. Sunbathing is a luxurious pastime in itself, with beach butlers on hand to supply you with whatever you require, be it another cocktail, tanning lotion, or a preloaded iPod.
