Accommodations: Accommodations are arguably the most elegant in the city, adorned in commissioned French and Native American art, raised panel walls, crown molding, designer furnishings, and custom imported carpets. Plush bedding features pillow-top mattresses and Italian linens; rooms have 1 king or 2 queen beds. Marble baths have deep tubs and walk-in showers. Amenities include 32” flat-screen TVs, on-demand movies, phones with voicemail and data ports, high-speed internet, MP3-compatible alarm clocks, mini-bars, coffee makers, in-room safes, hairdryers, irons/ironing boards, robes, slippers, and luxury bath products. Suites are individually decorated, and feature imported Persian-style rugs on hardwood floors. Some suites have private terraces.

Dining & Entertainment: The Grant Grill, the hotel’s signature restaurant since 1951, is one of the most historic dining rooms in the city, a place where high-level politicians and business leaders lunched during the 1950s and 60s. Today, The Grant Grill is a place everyone can enjoy, and has benefited from several multi-million dollar renovations over the years. Signature dishes are prepared from market-fresh ingredients and house-blended custom spices, and seafood entrees like Jumbo Diver Scallops are the house specialty. There are menus for breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, and dessert, an excellent wine list, and a full bar and lounge. In-room dining is available 24 hours a day.

Recreation: On-site there's a well-equipped exercise room, and you can unwind courtesy of the hotel’s local partner, Spa Velia, with a menu of in-room treatments that includes skincare, body wraps and polishes, massages, and manicures. The hotel is in a good spot for exploring the city, which has something to suite just about every style, with attractions like the San Diego Zoo, SeaWorld, Legoland, museums and historic sites, a vibrant beach scene and nightlife, and plenty of shopping and dining.
