Condominium-style rooms in high-rise hotel, adjacent to beach, local attractions – This contemporary, 36-story tower completed a multi-million dollar transformation and now boasts fully-remodeled, condominium-style accommodations. It is connected to Ala Moana Shopping Center, the world's largest open-air mall, via a walkway. The convention center is 1 block away, and Hawaii's largest beach park is within a 5-minute walk.

Accommodations: Guest rooms have views of the mountains, city, or ocean (some only partial). Most have lanais (Hawaiian for "balconies"). Amenities include air-conditioning, flat screen TVs, phones with data ports and voicemail, complimentary high-speed internet access, in-room safes, refrigerators, hairdryers, and irons/ironing boards. Microwaves are available on request. Each room has a king, queen, or paired double beds, and a living area with a sofa bed. Rooms can accommodate up to 4 guests. NOTE: All guest rooms and common areas are non-smoking.

Dining & Entertainment: Aaron's Atop the Ala Moana offers an incredible view looking out across the skyline, and serves classic American fare alongside Mediterranean- and Asian-influenced dishes. Aaron's is open for dinner-only, and reservations are recommended. Tsukasa and Royal Garden serve Japanese and Chinese cuisine, respectively, and are open for lunch and dinner. For breakfast, stop by the Plantation Café. Since no vacation on the islands is complete without a luau, you'll want to visit Hawaiian Hut for dinner, cocktails, and a show that exhibits authentic Polynesian dance. Drinks are served at several bars, including Pakele lounge, which has live Hawaiian music every Wednesday, and Moana Lanai, a poolside bar. At night, you're only steps away from Rumours, one of Honolulu's best, and busiest, nightclubs, open till 3:30am.

Recreation: On-site there is a fitness center, sauna, steam room, a swimming pool, and a terrace for sunbathers. Next door, The Ala Moana Shopping Center is home to 260 stores, including department stores, designer boutiques, restaurants, and day spas. At the Ala Moana Beach Park, you can sunbathe, swim, snorkel, and surf (ask you Travel Consultant about arranging lessons and board rentals). Local attractions include the Diamond Head Crater, the Waikiki Aquarium, and Honolulu Zoo.
