Accommodations: The air-conditioned rooms and suites are in a modern pyramid and 2 neo-Mayan towers. All accommodations have a king-size bed, 2 double beds, or both; a private balcony or terrace with an ocean, garden, or golf course view; marble floors; cable TV; a dressing area; a safe deposit box; a clock radio; an iron and an ironing board; and a hairdryer. Some suites have up to 2 separate bedrooms.
Dining & Entertainment: You can have all 3 meals buffet-style in the casual and open-air Chula Vista. Dinner is accompanied with live music. Choose all your favorites from the bountiful breakfast buffet at La Posadita, and return for seafood at lunchtime. Cafe Los Angeles serves gourmet coffees, pastries, and deli specialties throughout the day. From fresh seafood and Caribbean-style entrees to burgers and sandwiches, the Beach Club Restaurant & Bar satisfies. Enjoy a cocktail on the terraced palapa and watch the spectacular sunset. Dine on contemporary Mexican cuisine to the tunes of a strolling rondalla (string ensemble) at the signature La Hacienda restaurant. Have champagne with your Sunday brunch there. A relaxed atmosphere, an ocean view, and enticing Italian dishes are offered at Veranda Restaurant. The Golf Snack Bar has grilled fare, sandwiches, and refreshing beverages. NOTE: Some restaurants are subject to seasonal closings. Stay in the water and place your order at the swim-up bars La Palapa and Bar Grotto. The drinks are cold and the music is hot at Laguna Bar. Recreation: NOTE: The strong surf and riptide make swimming in the ocean a challenge, so check out the resort's 5 free-form pools. There's a saltwater pool, a tropical river pool with waterfalls and a lagoon, and 2 pools with a swim-up bar. Play tennis outdoors on hard or clay lighted courts or indoors on air-conditioned courts. You have complimentary shuttle service to and from 36 holes of golf. Engage a personal trainer at the fitness center. Facilities at the spa include hydrotherapy rooms, couples massage suites, and a Jacuzzi. Organized fun under a watchful eye, including treasure hunts and cookie baking, is available at the kids' club. You're welcome to attend Catholic Mass in Spanish and English on Sunday morning.
