Palm Springs, CA

Tropical... warm! Warmer than home!

This jewel among desert cities has preserved its quaint village atmosphere and added many new attractions as it continues to enjoy international appeal.

Rich in history and blessed with wonderful weather, the charming downtown with its lampposts, benches, sculptures and tile-paved enclaves invites strolling among the shops, galleries, eateries and coffee houses.

The ever-growing "Walk of Stars" on Palm Canyon Drive honors the city's pioneers, benefactors, and celebrities who have contributed to the growth and charisma of the village.

They don't call Palm Springs the "golf capital of the world" for nothing. Not only are there more than 100 courses in the greater Palm Springs area, but they are also among the world's most beautiful. In fact, if you watch golf tournaments on television, you've already seen many of them. They star in the highly-rated network golf special.

Tennis is the sport that originally built Palm Springs. Movie stars Charlie Farrell and Ralph Bellamy began their famed Racquet Club in Palm Springs to attract their Hollywood friends. Be warned, however, the gorgeous mountains in the background may play havoc with your concentration.

If you are lucky enough to have a long visit in Palm Springs, there are some delightful nearby excursions worth checking out. Joshua Tree National Park has mind-boggling rock formations, many species of lora and fauna and of course, Joshua trees. The scenic drive up Route 74 from Palm Desert to the Alpine village of Idyllwild is well worth the trip. You can venture to Anza Borrego State Park or Lake Arrowhead. Or, you can stay by the pool and gaze at the clear blue sky.

Whatever your style, Palm Springs has something for you. Come see and we know you'll be back.
